Dear University of Maryland,
I was recently outraged by your neglect to incorporate Pirate Studies 101 into the school curriculum. What is the reason for this? Are you so racist that you can't except pirates are just as human as you or me? Is this a kind of punishment. Let me tell you something: I have a five year old son who wears his bandana, eyepatch and hook hand every day after kingergarten and you know what he says when I ask him what he wants to be when he grows up. A pirate. Yes, a pirate. And you should be ashamed of yourselves for not allowing this beautiful kid to achieve his goal. I hope this letter changes your mind, For shame.
